URJ Heller High’s Largest Semester in Years Begins
Last week, 76 students from 23 states across North America, plus Canada and Israel, began their semester on URJ Heller High. These high schoolers come from 49 different URJ Congregations, and 44 are alumni from 14 different URJ camps. Seven of them had an older sibling on the program, and one student is a second generation Heller High/EIE participant!

Learning about Islam in Ein Rafa
Today we had a tiyul in Ein Rafa and spoke with Yasmine, who converted to Islam, and her husband Musa. We learned a variety of different topics concerning Islam through out the day.

Joshua and Judges. Tiyul to Sataf Park
The walk started from right outside of our rooms, where we live. We walked and walked, over hilly, almost mountainous landscape, until Tzuba seemed a long way behind. We trekked through the woods, over hills, and across a main road with traffic, just to arrive at the beginning of our Tiyul.

27 Students Arrive in Israel for Fall 2017 URJ Heller High Semester
We are thrilled to share that the Fall 2017 semester of URJ Heller High commenced last week. The students have begun to settle into their new home at Kibbutz Tzuba, and have started classes in Hebrew, Jewish History, and general studies. They celebrated their first Shabbat in Israel at the Kotel (Western Wall) and have already gone on several off-site trips, including an archaeological dig.
